Samantha is an exercise and mindset coach, helping women take control of their fertility through the mind body connection so they can level up their life.

After being diagnosed with Hypothalamic Amenorrhea, finding out it’s possible to be too fit to get pregnant, and undergoing IVF to have their son, Samantha made drastic changes to her unhealthy relationship with exercise and healthy eating. She now helps other women through the major mindset shifts it takes to stop overexercising and under-eating so they can regain their cycles and get pregnant without going crazy!

In today’s episode, Samantha shares her experience with HA, how she overcame it, and some of the specific challenges women face when dealing with HA.

Taq, ਤਕਦੀਰ ਕੌਰ Taqdir Kaur Bhandal, is the CEO of @imwithperiods. She runs her small business & think tank and spends her days doing research and teaching at the University of BC. She also gets to nerd out with fellow scholars as a member of the Society for Menstrual Cycle Research. When she’s not engaging in period research & writing of some kind, she spends her days trying to follow the rays of the sun with her dog. She’s trained as a human developmental biologist, health policy analyst, and herbalist. She is now physically based in Halifax, Nova Scotia on Mi’kmaw Territories after spending many years living in Vancouver. She is passionate about nachos & nach (dance)!

Mark is the founder and CEO of Organic Pastures Dairy Company, a leading California and national brand of truly raw dairy products including milk, butter, cream, kefir, truly raw cheddar cheeses. Founder and chairman of Raw Milk Institute and is an internationally recognized speaker and expert with an emphasis on Raw Milk production standards, gut biome, milk genomics, nutritional benefits, food safety and the medical benefits of raw unprocessed milk and products.

Mark is deeply involved with raw milk food safety research and is associated with the International Milk Genomics Consortium at UC Davis. Since 2018, two peer reviewed research papers now identify the Raw Milk Institute standards, training and testing protocols as causing “The RAWMI EFFECT”. Since 2014, in the USA there has been a 357% increase in raw milk consumption with a decrease of 74% for reported illness associated with raw milk. This positive effect has been associated with the advances in testing technology and the standards and training developed by RAWMI and its PhD board of directors. Thousands of farmers have received RAWMI training on how to produce raw milk for human consumption verses standards for pasteurization.
